Confused as to what is controlled airspace, an ATZ etc? Useful resource here.............. No fly drones (any model actually).Thankfully, both of our sites are clear of local ATZs, so models under 7kg (which most are) are in theory unrestricted as to operating height. In fact this is not quite correct, as other regulations exist that prohibit models potentially endangering full size aviation no matter where they are being flown from. Models over 7kg and below 20kg are in general restricted to a max altitude of 400ft, although this can differ with specific permission from a local ATC.
